How much do you love your diesel car? Carbon sludge be gone.

Those of you who read previous articles might know that I truly love my Mini Cooper D (Diesel model). It has a real strong turbo diesel engine (2,000 cc) in a tiny body. So it looks kind of cute, but it’s a monster when it comes to speedy driving. If you enjoy fun driving (in my definition fun driving means speedy driving with safety), one must always be conscious of the car status. The more you hit the brake, the more carbon sludge might be built-in in the intake manifold whether you like it or not.

Beginning of this year, BA Solutions started installing D-Clean product to customers. So I had chances of seeing lots of different diesel cars. One thing that shocked me is that whether engine looks and sounds very clean, you can always see a lot of carbon sludge built-up in the intake manifold area.

Check out this posting for the first D-Clean customer installation on BMW 320D and Volkswagen Touareg Diesel cars.

Majority of diesel cars in Korea are Hyundai and Kia cars. So we tend to have a lot of customers from Hyundai and Kia. These installation photos were taken with a Hyundai suv car. Car owner took great care of this car such as changing engine oil regularly, and checking car conditions also timely.  But when it comes to carbon sludge topic, it’s merciless.

Take a look! This is truth with all diesel cars, unfortunately whether you take great care of your car or not, this happens.

Tube to the engine from intake manifold had more carbon sludge built-up. This will slow you down over time and cause more pollution which is not only bad for you as you will breathe it in mostly while driving but also bad for all. With old diesel cars, you can feel it so obviously at some point in time, so you had to force yourself to clean it by dissembling the whole part and resembling it. Evidently, this takes a lot of time.

D-Clean product adapter will be installed at this part. When the sensor notices carbon sludge might be created in the process of accelerating (usually speeding with the use of Turbo involved), cleaner liquid will burst to clean it up. So carbon sludge might be created just like before installation, but it won’t be building up in the intake manifold.

It’s done. It didn’t take long. About 15 to 20 minutes, a professional automobile mechanic would finish the job.Testing is also very simple. If you drive about a few miles, mechanic can find out whether the cleaner liquid bursts happened or not.If it did, then it works perfectly. In fact sensitive driver can feel the difference at the time of a sudden acceleration point.

The job is beautifully done. I am sure the owner of this car can feel the difference shortly and be happy for good.

How much do you love your diesel car? It’s time to keep it clean and make it perform at its best at all times. Carbon sludge built-up worries be gone!
